• Fluid entering the valve from any working port does not affect spool movement.
• Premature movement of the poppet when pressure enters a port.

Poppet Type Valve

Our organization is engaged in manufacturing of Poppet Type valve that finds application in adverse environments where there are considerable pollutants in the air like cement plants. The property of working without lubrication enables no clogging of valves passage and wear of seals. The response time of the poppet valve is ten percent less than the conventional spool valve thereby leading to more number of strokes per minute.

Selection of Poppet valve is based on the following criteria:

• Forward operating mechanism of poppet
• Return operating mechanism of poppet ( spring return)
• Number of ports
• Number of positions (available in two position)
• Port size (available in 1/4" / 3/8" / 1/2" / 3/4" B.S.P.)

Solenoid Valve

Luthra manufactures Solenoid Valve (Pace Series) for pneumatic applications. Direction Control Valves are used in changing the passage of compressed air from one cylinder port to another. The air passage is altered by linear motion of the spool present in the valve. This spool can be shifted either manually or by electric signal using solenoid coil.

These solenoid valves are identified on the basis of:

• Type of mechanism
• No. of ports
• Port Size
• Size of orifice
• The larger the orifice / port size, the higher is the flow rate available which leads to increased operational speed of the cylinder.

Responsibilities:

• Solenoid Valve is directly resposible for opening and closing ports
• It controls the direction of fluid flow

Direct Acting Valve

Our range of Direct Acting Valves is so called because the change in direction of the air passage is facilitated direct movement of the plunger inside the sleeve assembly of the coil. No lubrication is required in these valves and the major advantage of using these valves is that they can be operated at a very low pressure of up to 0.2 bar.

This gives our valves preference over other models for low pressure operation. The orifice size ranges from 1.5mm to 6 mm and makes these ideal for applications requiring a low flow rate.
